Joe is founder and president of Main Street Homes. He has delivered more than 2,000 new homes, ranging from starter homes to ocean-front penthouses.
Raised in Ann Arbor, Joe has a deep connection to the local community and understands the local housing and development market. He is a Construction Management graduate of Ferris State University and is a licensed Residential Builder.
Joe was drawn to the building trades during high school and was a recipient of the prestigious Henry S. Landau Scholarship through the Washtenaw County Student Builders Association. Receiving this award gave Joe the opportunity to work under Landau’s direction at a young age, which Joe credits with guiding his vision and building philosophy to this day.
After directing operations for a prominent homebuilder of ultra-luxury homes in Naples, Florida, Joe returned to Michigan to fulfill a long-time dream of starting his own custom home building company.
Inspired by the mentorship he received as an aspiring young builder, Joe is now an active volunteer with student groups, working to cultivate the next generation of builders. He serves on the board of directors of the Student Home Builders Association, as well as the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor (BRAG), of which he is a former president.
Joe was recognized for his achievements with the 2019 Builder of the Year Award at BRAG’s annual Pillar Awards event.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with family on the water, boating and kayaking, as well as golfing, biking, skiing, running, and traveling.
